Presentations and Shows Nature & Wildlife Day 2015 will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Bird Sanctuary in Morrisburg. We've invited back some perennial favourites and working on some new activities for all to enjoy. This year some of our activities will be held in the new Stephanie Grady Educational Pavilion.
FALCON Environmental (Birds of Prey) and Speaking of Wildlife will be entertaining visitors with their wildlife presentations while Drogheda Manor will offer horse back rides. New entertainment include a tai chi demonstration, dance troupe, chain saw carving, and more. There will be face painting, BIRD HOUSE building, arts & crafts vendors, silent auction, lots of eats, carp tank, and DUCK BANDING. Don't forget to purchase your raffle tickets for a chance to win a kayak, mountain bike or binoculars.
We are located off County Road #2, 11 km east of Morrisburg between Upper Canada Village & Ingleside OR take Hwy 401, exit 770 South at Ingleside to County Road #2, travel West for 2 km and follow the signs.

J'y étais au sanctuaire aujourd'hui pour faire de la miroise sur l'un des sentiers; malheureusement il y avait peu d'oiseaux!!
Mon meilleur moment a eu lieu lorsque j'ai vu ce beau Porc-épic (Porcupine) sur le sentier:
